Downer **Rail and Transit Systems (RTS)** is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia**.** We are now looking for a Local Content Lead to join our highly skilled, Project Management team.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Project Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects pertaining to Local Content. You will be accountable for:

- Providing a high level of stakeholder engagement
- Reporting on various deliverables, collaborating with contractors regarding reporting
- Engaging and interfacing with local government, schools and suppliers as well as community

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and can be based in Brisbane or on the Fraser Coast, QLD.

**About You**:

- 5+ years relevant experience in a similar role
- Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel
- Working knowledge of the States Local Content Charter and QLD Procurement Policy (QPP)
- Working knowledge of social enterprises, education and project management
- Ability to travel intrastate and attend community events as required
