Manager, Corporate Lending Operations

**How will I help?**

The role the Manager of the LMO team is to develop a high performing and skilled team which is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction and utilising efficient business practices. The team support the Corporate & Institutional Bank (CIB) customers who enter into Bi-Lateral loans for Australia and Asia Branch, and syndicated loans where Westpac is a participant. The team are involved in projects related to our product system LoanIQ, and new product initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build a risk aware culture within the team that includes a "no surprises" approach.
- Focus on CORE (Customer Outcomes & Risk Excellence) by managing issues impacting customers and business partners.
- Actively contribute to the daily servicing requirements and suggest ways to improve service levels and operational efficiency (IGNITE).
- Create a collaborative culture which clears the way to work effectively within the Lines of Business (LOB)
- Manage the deal origination, loan, and settlement processing in LoanIQ
- Responsible for lending related queries and assisting to resolve reconciliation breaks
- Partner with Product, Credit Risk, Finance and Lending Service teams to ensure customer deliverables are met
- Conduct monthly 1:1's with direct reports and implement development and succession plans for the team

**What do I need?**
- Fiver years banking operations experience including a people leader with 2 years experience managing large teams
- Degree qualified preferred
- Corporate lending experience
- LoanIQ and Control IQ experience preferred
- Articulate communicator - written and verbal.
- Leading change mindset
- Strategic thinker
- Continuous improvement experience
