Renown Lending is a fast-growing Australian non-bank lender specialising in asset-backed commercial, construction and bridging finance, trusted by brokers and SMEs for our speed, transparency and ethical approach.
We're hiring a Commercial Business Development Manager (WA/QLD/SA) to expand our market presence by strengthening relationships with accredited brokers and aggregators, uncovering new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions aligned to client needs and our risk appetite. In this KPI-driven role you will proactively engage new and existing broker partners, target under-serviced regions, and run high-impact product presentations, workshops and training to lift confidence and deal flow; you'll manage a quality pipeline end-to-end, collaborate closely with Credit to structure viable transactions, and consistently meet monthly and annual volume targets.
You bring 3–5+ years in Commercial Lending, Business Banking or Residential lending (ideally broker/aggregator-facing), proven success growing third-party channels, strong knowledge of credit policy and SME deal structuring, and the communication and presentation skills to command a room and educate partners on process and value. Key Accountabilities
- Proactively engage with new and existing accredited brokers to grow commercial loan volumes in line with monthly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct a minimum of 10 face-to-face broker meetings per week to drive education, relationship-building, and deal flow.
- Manage broker relationships across NSW, with a focus on high service delivery and broker satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional product presentations, workshops, and training sessions to ensure broker networks are confident and informed about commercial lending offerings.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities, including under-serviced regions or broker groups.
