In this role you will enjoy working as part of a small team, coordinating the transportation of goods by trucks and tankers with drivers across Southern NSW and ACT.

This busy desk will have you making and receiving approximately 50 calls each day with drivers, sales reps, customer service operators and various other stakeholders within the business to ensure a seamless delivery of products to the customers.

**Duties include**:

- Evaluate relevant information, returned from drivers and paperwork, to respond promptly to customer service enquires and issues
- Communicate at all levels, including drivers, managers, CSO’s and customers. Promptly communicate any delays, issues or concerns with regard to the schedule
- Make logical decisions based on sound analysis and complete tasks within stringent time constraints.
- Identify priorities; utilise available resources effectively to meet these priorities; anticipate change and/or problems and reallocate resources when necessary
- Build solid working relationships with drivers and staff
- Comply with safe working practices & fatigue management - Routes not to exceed maximum driver working hours / monitoring of driver hours.
- Understand driver & vehicle capability to perform expected deliveries

**About you**:

- Previous experience in a busy phone-based role, contact centre or a role where deliveries are scheduled.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Critical thinking - Works well under pressure with sound decision making
- Solid geographic understanding of the Southern NSW and ACT areas
- Ability to think on your feet, calmly and systematically.
- Focus on WHS, compliance and policies - ensuring drivers do not exceed their max. driving hours and products on trucks are within maximum capacity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Competent with using computer systems, if you have experience with EWS, this would be a bonus
