The BWS Finance team are responsible for the finance and strategic leadership for a highly competitive +1400 store retail liquor and drinks business. To be successful, the BWS Finance team focuses on partnering with the business to drive optimal business performance whilst maintaining an objective viewpoint and strong financial control framework.

**The Role**

This role is required to partner with the BWS Operations team and other key stakeholders to support and provide financial performance reporting to improve the performance of BWS’s +1400 store network.

**Key Focus Areas**
- Responsible for the production and distribution of weekly and monthly store wages performance reporting and analysis
- Responsible for month end journals, review of results, reporting, forecasting and other month end tasks
- Responsible for the delivery of GP & CODB budgets to support the overall delivery of the annual operating plan
- Supporting the Finance Business Partners to deliver value add analysis and decision support based on the needs of the Operations teams
- Play a role in the delivery of key finance projects that improve both our financial and operational ways of working and metrics
- Support the quarterly store network review process, outlining key insights and improvements, working closely with Operations, Property & Finance Teams, amongst others

**Your Background**
- A minimum of +5 years of relevant experience, with Operations experience desired
- An ability and passion to work with teams outside of finance to deliver great end to end outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability in building strong relationships with stakeholders and exert influence to deliver on commitments
- Ability to plan and coordinate reporting and project timetables, and deliver on multiple work streams
- Able to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple
- Sound organisational and effective time management skills, can handle pressure and manage expectations whilst servicing people from across different departments
- Strong experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Excel, Tableau, Powerpoint
- CPA / CA / CIMA Qualification
