**About the Team**:
Our Restaurant Account Management team sits at the heart of DoorDash's mission to empower local businesses. As a Partner Manager, you'll take full ownership of a portfolio of small to medium-sized restaurant partners across Australia - helping them grow, thrive, and win on the platform.
This isn't just about support — it's about strategy. You'll work closely with operators to understand their goals, identify opportunities, and deliver results that matter. From product adoption to campaign planning, performance reviews to operational problem-solving — you'll drive real business impact, fast.
You'll also be part of a high-performing, collaborative team that values sharp thinking, strong execution, and shared wins. If you're passionate about local food, tech, and helping businesses succeed, this is the place for impact
**About the Role**:
As a Partner Manager on the SMB team, you'll own a portfolio of high-potential restaurants and be directly responsible for their growth and success on the platform. You'll act as a trusted partner to operators, working closely with them to improve performance, solve challenges, and unlock new opportunities.
This role blends commercial strategy with execution. You'll lead data-backed business reviews, shape campaign plans, drive product adoption, and influence internal teams to get things done. You'll also play a key role in strengthening our broader team sharing insights, supporting peers, and helping us raise the bar for merchant experience.
Partnership Managers know how to work independently and can effectively organise their time to be as impactful as possible in their own way.
This role will report directly to the Manager of SMB Partnerships, Australia. It is a Hybrid role with 3 days per week in-office.
**You're excited about this opportunity because you will**:
- Influence - Work cross-functionally with our Merchant Operations, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and Sales teams to improve the merchant experience and achieve market revenue goals
- Strategise - Work with our Strategy and Operations team to devise and execute the overall operational strategy for "winning with the merchant"
- Business Development - Generate new business and strategic investment opportunities by increasing merchant share of wallet and unlocking revenue for DoorDash
- Analyse - Build models to evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of merchant acquisition, engagement, and retention programs and experiments. Forecast and evaluate OKR achievement for your book of business.
- Experiment - Use data-driven decision making and sound business judgment to run tests on process improvements, revenue impacts, in-store marketing, and launching new products.
**We're excited about you because you are**:
- Commercially Curious: You ask the right questions and spot what others miss. You're always looking to understand the why behind the numbers and how to turn that into action.
- Merchant-Focused: You think long-term, build trust quickly, and know how to advocate for what will make a real difference to your partners
- Sales minded - Have experience upselling, cross-selling and have passion about unlocking revenue. You are a strong negotiator, having the ability to influence the decision making process and settle on pro-created value.
- Relationship-builder - You can influence and motivate people at all levels across a variety of job functions. You can navigate a geographically distributed team and remotely liaise with central functions. You obsess over our merchant and you're laser focused on building deep and meaningful relationships with them
- Problem solver - You can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans. You enjoy solving problems through collaboration with others.
- Technical - You have knowledge of Excel (Can maintain complex spreadsheets). You navigate sales tools with ease (Salesforce, Outreach, Google Apps)
- Laser-Focused on Prioritisation: You move fast, stay clear on what matters most, and don't let busy work get in the way of impact.
- Team-Oriented: You share learnings, back your teammates, and contribute to a culture where strong performance and strong support go hand in hand.
