**The Role**:
Nextt is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers for ongoing shifts to support our participants in Mount Colah at one of our Support Independent Living Facility.
**Tasks include**:

- Ensure all duties and tasks are completed in accordance with the plan.
- Understand the individual goals of each participant, make sure all time spent with the participant is meaningful and productive in relation to the achievement of goals.
- Able to make calculated micro decisions and able to follow direction.
- Provide and/or support with personal care to participants.
- Provide medication assistance if needed.
- Prepare and/or support with meal preparation.
- Perform and oversee the provision of domestic services.
- Ensure all incidents and hazards are reported in timely manner.
- Provide feedback on progress and pass on any concern to the House Leader.

**What we'd like to see**:

- A minimum of 2 years of industry experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Knowledge in working with non-verbal clients,
- Experience in Manual Handling, Hoist Transfer, and mobility assistance
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, and valid Australian Driver license with reliable transport
