Talent International is searching for experienced Project Scheduler to join our client, a large health care provider. This is a 6-month role based in Brisbane.

**About the Role**:
The core responsibilities for this role include:

- Implement best practices across the program with regards to Scheduling and the service capability;
- Create the project level schedules with Project Managers, introduce regular schedule monitoring and review practices to ensure schedules are kept up to date;
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Assess project issues pertaining to scheduling and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives;
- Analyse data and prepare reviews;
- Work with project and program managers to accurately reflect inter and intra project dependencies.
- Develop standardised schedule formats and support milestone reporting, to enable transparent reporting of progress against baselines and financial forecasts
- Enable the development of Power BI reports and ensure the accuracy of project Gantt charts.
- Create and maintain a resourcing heatmap in conjunction with Project Managers.
- Identify scheduling risks and opportunities.
- Support the PMO Lead and the wider delivery team.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Ability to engage, lead and influence a wide variety of stakeholders;
- Can-Do attitude with a focus on effectively delivering outcomes
- Working knowledge of other related disciplines including forecasting and cost estimation;
- Expertise in MS Project with 5+ years of experience with using Microsoft Project
- Ideally some knowledge in EVM and project financials
- Strong experience and knowledge of portfolio and project management tools such as Projects for the Web and Microsoft Project.
- Experience in creating Power BI reports and managing and maintaining program and portfolio level Gantt charts.
