Operations Controller (Transit Systems Victoria Pty Ltd)

**About the Role**

**Transit Systems (Victoria) **is looking for a Full Time Operations Controller.

Work close to home, all shifts are based out of our **WEST FOOTSCRAY** depot.

Be part of a **GREAT** team

Be a key player in the management of day to day operations ensuring:

- we deliver on all service delivery KPI’s
- operate a service where safety is paramount
- we have a happy team

Your days will be a mixture of Service Delivery functions including allocations, managing diversions, shift coverage and rosters. You will be a key player in guiding and leading the driving team. You will also be responsible for reporting functions including incident, accident and complaints as well as maintaining internal databases. Some days you may even jump in a bus and drive

**About You**
- Ability to work a rotating roster including AM & PM shifts and weekends and public holidays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to influence positive outcomes
- Confident and positive leadership style and ability to motivate and inspire
- Ability to deliver feedback confidently and professionally
- Work calmly under pressure and juggle competing priorities
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal abilities and adaptable to situation/audience
- Be a Team player who is also comfortable working independently
- Intermediate computer literacy including MS Office suite, reporting and database products and platforms

**Qualifications & Experience**
- MR or above Australian driver's license
- Driver accreditation
- A valid Working with Children Check
- A good driving history
- Experience driving commercial passenger vehicles
- Previous public transport experience
- Ideally you will have at least 1 - 3 years' experience in a similar role
