**Warehouse Operator - storage and distribution**

Australian Tyre Traders is an Australian owned and operated company, and we are looking for a **Warehouse Operator** in our Melbourne Warehouse located in West Footscray. In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be responsible for container unloading, storage and daily dispatch of tyres. This is a full-time permanent role with immediate start.

**Your Role**:

- **Dispatch**_: Ensure the efficient and structured operation of our Melbourne distribution center. Preforming the picking of customer orders, palletising, dispatch of said orders, booking couriers, preparing con-notes prior to dispatch, booking freight pickups and loading product for the dispatch ensuring to meet allocated cut off times. Responsibility for on time accurate dispatch of product and associated consignment paperwork.
- **Receipt**_: incoming products: unpacking 40-foot containers and the orderly storage of tyres. Receiving product from suppliers on smaller consignments via transport.
- **Core Competencies**:_
- Good Inventory control
- Moderate computer skills
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work within a team environment.
- **Job Competencies**:_
- Forklift drivers permit/license.
- Experience in using inventory, and freight packages.
- Good Inventory control knowledge - completing week stock checks as required.
- Previous experience with tire sales or distribution an advantage
- **Personal Attributes**:_
- Proven team player, with a focus on achieving shared company objectives.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Self-motivated to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- **To be successful for this role you require**:_
- be accurate and remember tasks completed days before.
- and therefore, possess the mental capacity to hold an interest in repetitive tasks working under pressure at times.
- be self-motivated to clean when dispatch/receipt work is slow of finished.
- must be physically fit and healthy with no pre-existing conditions affecting your ability to fulfil this or other roles within the company.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36 per week

**Salary**: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
