About the Role:
We have a unique opportunity for an Account Manager to manage and build relationships with our existing portfolio of professional brands across Retail and eCommerce at Reed Exhibitions (RX). Reporting directly into the Sales Director, this is a permanent full-time role based in Chatswood, Sydney with flexibility to work from home and the office.

As an RX Account Manager, you’ll manage your portfolio of existing and prospective customers to deliver against your individual revenue targets across each of your events. You’ll work collaboratively with your customers to identify strategic priorities and design solutions across our physical, digital and sponsorship opportunities.

Whilst we celebrate individual star performers, being a team player and contributing to the success and culture of the sales team is just as important for us.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Use your people skills to develop lasting relationships with key brands by understanding and responding to their needs.- Create, implement and monitor Account Development Plans for top tier clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs, budgets, stakeholders/decision makers, goals/objectives, buying cycles etc.- To meet and/or exceed annual key objectives as prescribed by the company strategy.- Work with the Sales Director to develop sales plans/strategies/milestones for your portfolio.- Strengthen relationships with Rebooker Accounts and establish relationships with Strategic Account decision makers through regular contact, conducting face to face visits/presentations and deep/rich phone conversations.- Have a ‘win back’ approach to reactivate Lapsed accounts through sales best practice to identify objectives, expectations, competitor attendance and the value proposition of the show.- Identify and convert new customer opportunities through referrals, competitive events and alternative marketing platform.- Maintain and grow existing clients through optimised quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2 - 3 years+ experience in B2B selling environment with a solid understanding of sales strategies and selling process.- Prior industry experience either within eCommerce or Retail will be highly advantageous.- Well-rounded communication and relationship management skills.-
- Ability to meet multiple sales and work deadlines
