**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity has opened in Sydney for an experienced fire detection systems maintenance technician to join BSA fire service division. This role will involve preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance; minor capital works; and 24/7 emergency services for our clients' fire assets. Programming capabilities would be highly desirable.

**About the Responsibility**
- Carry out Routine Inspection and Testing for Monthly, Six Monthly and Yearly Servicing of fire detection equipment on a range of high-profile sites.
- Providing service to various types of fire detection equipment.
- Developing and maintaining first class relationships with our clients.
- Opportunity for Shift work.
- Provide solutions to our customers where investigations and recommendations are required and assist with quote development.
- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Attending call-outs as per rostered requirements, including afterhours roster.
- Maintaining industry knowledge and monitoring market developments, keeping up-to-date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards
- Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behavior according to company values.
- Complying with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures.

**About you**:

- Experience in the fire industry - ideally 2 years minimum
- Extensive knowledge of AS 1851 - 2012
- Knowledge across various equipment types
- EAHL licence an advantage
- Sound Knowledge of Australian Standards
- Current Blue/White Card
- EWP Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
