**Your next career opportunity**
As an Academic Specialist at the Metabolomics Australia facility, you'll play a crucial role in developing advanced mass spectrometry-based metabolomic capabilities. You'll provide expert services and training to researchers from academia, industry, and government across Australia. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, develop new methodologies, and work with state-of-the-art instrumentation in a collaborative team environment.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Provide Expert Services and Training: Offer metabolomics expertise and services to a wide range of researchers, delivering training and mentoring on complex metabolomics concepts.
- Maintain Advanced Instrumentation: Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of various mass spectrometry instruments, ensuring optimal performance for research activities.
- Engage in Collaborative Research: Support internationally competitive research, contribute to publications in high-impact journals, and participate in grant proposals and research dissemination activities.
