**How will I help?**

The role is an opportunity on Westpac’s Corporate FX & Commodities solutions desk in Sydney. The responsibility of the person in this role is to provide Foreign Exchange and Commodity derivatives to a portfolio of top tier Corporate and institutional Banking clients to assist them in managing these risks in their underlying business. You will offer a high level of service via customer knowledge and thought leadership in an effort to achieve Trusted Advisor status.

You will also
- Be an expert in FX & Commodity products and their role in managing risks that our clients face in their businesses
- Develop a deep understanding of a client’s business and the environment they operate in to understand the implications on key risk metrics in order to create origination opportunities
- Ability to influence key stakeholders in FM, CIB, Credit, and Transactional banking in order to originate FM opportunities from existing customers and also support CIB in the origination of new to bank customers
- Portfolio Management - proactive management of the customer relationships within both your portfolio and the broader Australian Corporate FX & Commodities client portfolio
- An understanding of cashflow-at-risk concepts and their relevance for treasury risk managers across FX & Commodities
- Understand implications of XVA pricing across products
- Have a proven track record in being an outstanding team player
- Working with the Corporate Derivatives and Digital Distribution teams to provide a seamless provision of service across all FM products and distribution methods
- Understanding and adhering to regulatory requirements and support a strong risk culture
- Comply with the letter and spirit of all Group and WIB policies, Dealing Room policies and relevant Dealer’s handbook

**What do I need?**

You have a customer centric approach and will have substantial experience executing FX & Commodity derivative products for Corporate clients and a solid understanding of compliance obligations. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Some further advantageous skills:

- Exceptional understanding of FX & Commodity products and deal systems, to enable appropriate education of staff, customers, and bankers
- Relevant education and professional accreditation, including AFMA.
