Sydney- Wealth Management- Contract or TemporaryOur client is a leading global asset manager with a sizable presence and team in Sydney’s CBD. They are seeking an experienced Investment Operations / Portfolio Administrator with prior experience in funds middle office, investment operations and or investment management services across various functions and asset classes to join their team for 12 months initially

**Prior experience in portfolio valuation, reconciliations, collateral, corporate actions, and basic performance calculation across multiple asset classes is required**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Investment teams and dealing staff to ensure that security and cash positions are correctly reflected in Charles River and internal and external reporting.
- Assist Investment teams by resolving all queries related to security and cash positions the front office systems.
- Monitor and review all corporate actions and events to ensure an accurate and consistent global treatment in Charles River reconcile and process all corporate action events in Aladdin.
- Cash flow processing
- Manage futures clearing, cleared OTC derivatives and collateral management processes
- Liaise with third party administrator to ensure all investment transactions are correctly captured in the accounting system.
- Ensure all securities are accurately and consistently set-up in the systems to ensure mínimal impact on processing flows and data feeds.
- Performs cash and positions reconciliations against custodian and administrator’s records
- Monitor proxy voting responses.
- Complete regulatory reporting on a daily basis ensuring all deadlines are met and reconciliation breaks identified
- Assist in portfolio setup in the system as part of on-boarding

**Experience**:

- 3+ years in an investment management operations or middle office role.
- Understanding of international equity markets and derivatives is essential
- Prior experience in portfolio valuation, reconciliations, margining, collateral, corporate actions, and basic performance calculation across multiple asset classes is required
- Knowledge of international corporate actions
- ASIC/MAS/HKMA Regulatory Reporting experience would be beneficial
- Familiar with ongoing OTC regulatory changes including collateral management and central clearing
