Job Scope

The scope of this role is to manage the risk associated with the existing customer portfolio to ensure maximum profitability and mínimal risk exposure for WEX Australia. Assessment of credit worthiness and credit capacity according to WEX's policies, in order to continue growing business profitability while minimizing risk exposure is a key focus of this role.

The Role and Key Responsibilities- Analyze and approve counter-party credit limits for trading, transactional and financing businesses with funds- Develop risk management framework and processes-
- Conduct in depth fraud investigations.- Facilitate the provision of an efficient and high-quality service to internal and external customers.- Work with service portfolio leads to provide recommendations to uplift standards, policies, strategies, and best practices as identified through investigations.- Maintain awareness and comply with all aspects of policy, procedure, and statutory requirement, in order to maximize efficiency and minimize risk to the Group and its employees.- Provide on the job training and coaching for team members or less experienced colleagues- Be responsible for preparing reporting and insights on all relevant quality control reviews and checks.

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar credit role- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Familiar with web-based credit bureaus- Experience of commercial credit risk assessment- Ability to interpret business financials- Excellent written and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organization.- Strong organizational and self-management skills including the ability to quickly adjust, and to accommodate emerging priorities- Proven analytical and report writing skills, including process documentation- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
