**About the Opportunity**

OPS is currently sourcing skilled, experienced and motivated Workshop Fitters to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art workshop in Bibra Lake. The majority of your work will be conducted on track mounted and stationary crushers, screens, conveyors, shredders, chippers, grinders, washing equipment and other like processing and handling equipment. Roles on offer include workshop based and field service with a mix of workshop and site work. Hourly rates between $46.00 and $50.00.

You core daily duties will include conducting maintenance, service, repairs, pre deliveries and troubleshooting on a range of mobile and stationary equipment, in line with OEM standards and requirements. Predominately, you will be working on mobile screening and crushing plant.

**About You**

To be successful for this role, you must have the following:

- Full unrestricted ‘C’ Class Driver’s License - HR desirable
- Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting/Mechanical Engineering/Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
- A minimum 3+ years post training experience, with experience with heavy industrial mobile plant, mineral processing or bulk materials handling equipment
- Experience with reading and interpreting hydraulics and electrical schematics
- Current Forklift Licence
- Be physical capable of performing manual tasks
- Pro-active and self-motivated
- Have a strong personal belief in the importance of safety
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
