About the Role
This role supports the Senior Regulatory and Prudential Compliance Manager with accountability for the global oversight of ANZ’s management of the following Level 2 Regulatory risks: Prudential Compliance, Licencing, Financial Markets & OTC Regs, EESG, Company Operations and Banking Operations.
This team maintains strong relationships with Senior Managers across all areas of the bank.

What will your day look like?
**The role is accountable for**:
Working with senior internal stakeholders to support their understanding of the Level 2 risks and help build out the compliance environment, including controls relating to ANZ’s licences e.g., AFSL & ACL.
Undertaking activities relating to the oversight of the above Level 2 regulatory risks within risk appetite,
Lead the oversight of the frameworks, policies, and associated control objectives and obligations relating to assigned Level 2 risks and consistent with the components of the I.AM Framework including identification of opportunities for simplification and automation.
Undertaking insightful analysis on the management of assigned Level 2 risks.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Tertiary qualified with 8+ years experience in Compliance / Risk Management, or relevant experience in financial services
Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence/negotiate outcomes
Excellent communication skills - oral, written and presentation
Ability to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional/risk based manner
Ability to understand regulatory issues and translate into actions or provide advice to facilitate compliant outcomes
