IT Officer

**About the role**

Based at Liebherr’s Corporate office in Adelaide and reporting directly to the Group Leader of IT Operations, Security & Infrastructure, the IT Officer
- Security & Patch Administration (IT-S & PA) will work within an experienced National IT team who are responsible for the overall provision of timely and efficient IT support services to the business on a national scale.

The key responsibility of the IT-S & PA will be to provide timely and efficient day to day IT security and solutions to the key stakeholders by being the on-site IT support resource in the assigned location, with a focus on security and patch administration.

As this is a fast-paced business the IT-S & PA will be required to respond quickly to complex technical issues whilst maintaining a high level of customer focus and satisfaction. There will also be a requirement for this role to participate in an on call on-call after hours roster system.

**Duties**:

- Participate in information security incident response processes.
- Sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect the organisation.
- SCCM management.
- Power Shell Scripting.
- Assist with monitoring and investigating security alerts.
- Proactive identification of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
- Maintain appropriate evidence of technical security control operation.
- Perform Helpdesk and IT support tasks.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Security or equivalent.
- Ability to influence Change management and user adoption.
- Advanced experience in network and communications security, authentication and access control, security alert analysis and incident response and security solution administration.
- Extensive experience in Project management.
- Proven knowledge and experience in information security risk assessment and management, end-point security principles and practices.
- Experience ib powershell/bash scripting and technical assistance and support on computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Knowledge in distribution and disposal of classified data/documents/devices.
