**Your new role**

As a Community and Indigenous Engagement Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Project Lead. This is a pivotal role where your primary responsibilities will include planning and coordinating engagement activities with community groups and organisations.

Your role will also entail providing advice to the agency on cultural matters and conducting formal evaluations of engagement activities. This is a full-time, AS05 contract role that is set to start ASAP for approximately 6 months.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you have experience in:

- Proven experience in community engagement and project coordination.
- Strong understanding of and respect for cultural groups and customs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively and foster strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- High level of initiative and ability to work autonomously.
- Please note, you must hold a valid national police clearance less than 6 months old.
