- consulting model - a mix of 3Forward resource and client resource overseeing all aspects of planning and buying, ownership and transparency of media platform data and campaign results.
We help our clients build & manage their own Digital futures.
**THE ROLE**:
We’re looking for a dedicated Planning Lead to join our team of passionate marketers, and digital specialists. You will work on two of our largest accounts and can truly dedicate yourself to these clients. Both accounts operate in the Education sector and invest approx. $10M a year in media spend. You’ll report to our Head of Strategy, providing you with executive-level support, and an opportunity to grow both your strategic planning skill and business acumen.
We’re also a team that does what everyone else is talking about doing by way of our streamlined workflows that promote work-life balance and explicitly focus on higher value additive outputs (reducing manual, busy work wherever possible).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
We have outlined the key responsibilities of the role below, but we also tailor roles to everyone. This gives you ownership of your own career progression and upskilling roadmap in areas that may interest you beyond your core operational role.
The Planning Lead will be responsible for managing media on behalf of the client. You will have the complete support of our Digital Solutions team (programmatic, social and SEM specialists) to implement your campaigns. Our processes are optimised and streamlined to ensure plans are implemented accurately and translate into best practise campaign builds with a focus from the get-go on measurement and results-tracking.
**Process stages where you will lead, include**:
- Brief Development &/or Problem Diagnosis
- Research & Insight Development
- Campaign Strategy: Channel Investment & Audience Selection Criteria & Rationale
- Measurement Framework
- Implementation Planning Detail
- Post Campaign Analysis
The Planning Lead will also manage 1-2 marketing executives responsible for supporting creative asset delivery and setup of campaigns in a timely manner.
**As part of the planning process, you will also**:
- Be first point of contact & trusted advisor to your client portfolio & maintain overall positive client-agency relationships.
- Actively lead media partner selection via a data-driven approach to vendor offerings. You will be supported in this by our Digital Solutions Director, and SEM specialists who are ultimately responsible for our adtech/martech stack, and programmatic, search and social channel recommendations.
**Skills we’re looking for**:
- Past media agency experience (minimum 5 years) across Digital and some understanding of offline channels.
- Proven leadership ability and / or prior experience managing a team.
- An understanding of programmatic, and social (Facebook / Instagram & other) platforms as it strictly relates to planning.
- Outstanding customer service track-record and references
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficient at analysing data and generating insights (from both quantitative and qualitative sources)
- Creative and critical thinking
- Qualifications: Education in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or IT/Technology related degrees.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
