Platform Operations Oversight Associate

To assume responsibility in implementing and monitoring the oversight of the outsourced Australian Personal Investor platform operations. To participate in the development, implementation and administration of various Client Operation’s strategic initiatives, with a direct focus on ensuring a positive client experience. In the role you will also actively participate in the oversight and management of numerous outsourced vendors.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Platform Oversight and joining a broader team of Client Operations professionals, the Associate, Client Operations Oversight will be responsible for supporting in the evolution and implementation of the control management framework, collaborating with business partners to ensure a robust control framework is in place and maintained.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Platform Oversight and joining a broader team of Client Operations professionals, the Associate, Client Operations Oversight will be responsible for supporting in the evolution and implementation of the control management framework, collaborating with business partners to ensure a robust control framework is in place and maintained.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide assistance and training support as needed to recognise and develop other crew members. Fosters an inclusive team environment driven by open communication, teamwork, and accountability.
- Oversees operating procedures, monitors operational metrics, and ensures the team delivery of accurate and timely processing based on daily goals. Develops team processes and procedures to improve operational effectiveness.
- Advocates and supports a culture of continuous improvement, coupled with providing the foundational support for effective change management in line with Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with external clients and business partners that include third party vendors. Proactively foster effective communication, providing feedback, action items and enhancing our oversight controls for outsourced vendor relationships.
- Ability to work flexibly and Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree (Business) or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
- Minimum five years general experience industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of various business segments within retail and platform. Familiar with regulatory requirements for those businesses.
- Knowledge and understanding of internal control theory and practices.
- A proactive attitude towards building and managing stakeholder engagement.
- A desire to learn, ability to self-direct work and eagerness to contribute to team success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical skills and understanding of processes, technology and operational concepts.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
