About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the holistic enablement, planning, supplier management, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. Your expertise in supply chain management, market analysis, and vendor negotiations will drive operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards. You will work closely with the Marketing Operations Leand, Head of Operations & Delivery and Procurement to address the dynamic needs of the marketing and procurement teams.
This role will involve interaction with the following stakeholder groups
- Suncorp Bank Marketing Team
- Sourcing & Procurement
- Risk function
- Technology
- Retail Marketing

**Role Location**: Melbourne, VIC or Brisbane, QLD
**Role Type**: 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time
What will your day look like?
As the Strategic Oversight Manager, you will be accountable for:
**Strategic Oversight**: Business facilitation of the consumption / management of services / outputs provided by vendors back to Suncorp Bank business.
Driving business requirements and inputs required for service delivery and alignment with the business goals of both Suncorp Bank and ANZ.
Identifying and improving innovation & service delivery in alignment with broader marketing goals.
Identify potential risks associated with vendor services and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on marketing business operations.
Ensure vendors are compliant with Suncorp Bank and ANZ policy and regulations.
Business performance oversight, and inclusion in monthly performance meetings with the vendors.
Providing hypercare support during transitions and manage hypercare activities post-TSA (Transition Service Agreement) exit to ensure smooth integration and mínimal disruption to marketing business operations.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Extensive experience in marketing operations role
- Vendor lifecycle management.
- Evidence of strong relationship building skills across multiple stakeholders, including experience working with vendors.
- Business / Commercial acumen: Track record of being able to deliver both commercial results and better customer experiences. Acts as a trusted advisor
- Identifies opportunities for improvements in outcomes, processes and systems to improve results and performance
- Marketing planning and Operations experience
