**Role**:
Hours of work 10.00am - 3.00pm Monday - Friday.

The First Aid Officer acts as a first point of contact for all first aid enquiries. It is important that the successful applicant operates in a consistent, professional, courteous and efficient manner at all times. The role requires close interaction with a range of staff, students and visitors to the school.

A current Level 2 first aid qualification is required.

The First Aid Officer is part of the Administration community whose responsibility is to work collaboratively, ensuring a productive, efficient and respectful workplace.

**Responsibilities**:
Administer First Aid as required to students and staff in accordance with DET guidelines.

Maintain the First Aid room in a clean, well organised and maintained in accordance with OH&S standards.

Contact parents and emergency services as required.

Liaise with parents, staff and members of the wider community regarding problems/queries about students medical conditions.

Maintain, enter and retrieve data from the schools management system in relation to first aid.

Maintain confidentiality at all times.

Undertake other duties relevant to the field of responsibility as requested by the Business Manager or Principal.
