**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are seeking an experienced ‘Shuttle Bus Driver' who will also provide support across our Brisbane properties as a handy-person.

As the Shuttle Bus Driver, will operate the Scape branded shuttle with primary responsibility for the secure and safe transportation of all passengers, predominantly students. You will act as a tour guide on day trips in the Greater Brisbane area, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast.

In addition, you will be responsible for completing day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure that the properties are operating and looking their best and attend to any basic repairs in public areas as well as in resident rooms and apartments.

The role requires the person to work on a rotating roster, between 7am and 12pm, Monday through Friday and occasionally, weekend shifts.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

We are looking for a highly motivated Shuttle Bus Driver who has high attention to detail, enjoys problem solving and exceeding people’s expectations.

You will have the ability to work with and relate to young adults from diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Have held an Australian LR class license and hold or obtain a current **Restricted Driver** **Authorisation** (courtesy transport) from **Queensland** Transport
- Some prior handy-person advantageous
- European or Asian language/s (desirable)
- Immaculate personal presentation
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- An outgoing and confident personality
- Excellent knowledge of the Brisbane road system and south east QLD area including tourist attractions and national parks
- Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card)
- You must be willing to undertake a National Police Check Assist residents with luggage as required
- Maintain the bus including cleaning and arranging regular servicing
- Assist residents with concierge services as required
