**Description**:
What you will do.

**This senior staff position is accountable for**:

- Contribute to the Credit Risk strategy ensuring credit policy represents risk appetite of the Bank, Regulatory requirements and community expectations.
- Assist the onboarding of new lenders and operational staff.
- Support other Manager roles across the Lending Operations team.

**Skills and Experiences**:
What you will bring.
You are have an eye for detail, can identify trends in deteriorating credit quality at an individual or bank-wide level, and communicate to stakeholders issues and improvement opportunities to uplift lending standards.

**You have**:

- Minimum 5 years Banking industry lending and credit related experience within a Senior Lending Assessment role.
- Degree qualification in Banking / Finance /Accounting highly regarded.

**Demonstrated experience or skills in**:

- Exercising a Lending delegation.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced problem solving skills with a solutions focus.
- Current knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements including APRA & ASIC, Privacy Act and NCCP.
- Influencing team members and departmental peers.
