HumanKapital is a full suite human resources, recruitment and WHS services provider.

**Our client is a highly successful large organisation, based in Brisbane. Reporting to Head of Safety in a small WHS team, this role will provide support and guidance in regard to Work Health and Safety systems such as training and development, return to work programs, healthy lifestyle initiatives and provide generalist administrative support.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Some of the key responsibilities of this permanent full-time position include:

- Supporting the WHS team to deliver strategies and projects in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Maintaining business partnering with all business units, promoting the WHS strategic plan and associated projects and initiatives.
- Supporting behavioural-based safety and critical risk management programs.
- Coordinating rehabilitation activities with a focus on getting employees back to work in a safe and supportive manner.
- Coordinating health, safety and wellbeing programs and promotions.
- Facilitating safety management systems (SMS) continuous improvement and supporting the streamlining of SMS processes without losing WHS risk management effectiveness.
- Facilitating or participating in both internal and external audits.
- Leading or supporting investigations into significant incidents / near misses.
- Delivering WHS training packages.
- Supporting SMS and culture improvement and implementation projects across the business.
- Identifying risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring outcomes in line with the organisations risk management framework.

**ABOUT YOU**
- WHS Diploma as a minimum.
- Return to Work Coordinator qualification and experience.
- Health and wellbeing background.
- Experience delivering and assessing WHS training (e.g. inductions and packages)
- Competence in risk assessments
- Generalist experience
- Positive attitude and willingness to try something new and get things done.
