The Alliance Health & Safety Advisor primary function will be to provide contemporary professional support to the Sunwater and Alliance project team in relation to the management of health and safety risk and ensure fit for purpose systems are in place and embedded to provide optimal health and safety outcomes. This role plays an integral part of driving and delivering a safe work culture across the Alliance project team on a major water infrastructure construction project. You will:

- Facilitate the review and alignment of the Alliance OHS management system during the Alliance team establishment phase.
- Develop and implement contemporary health and safety management strategies, objectives, and targets in partnership with the Alliance Safety Manager and Alliance Management Team
- Assist and align health and safety performance monitoring and reporting.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3-5 years civil construction experience working in an Alliance or Joint Venture project, preferably holding tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline. You will also bring:

- **SME expertise**: Experience providing health and safety advice to the Alliance project, planning and operational groups within the organisation to enable Sunwater projects to be efficiently undertaken with due regard to health and safety considerations.
- **Passion for education**:Educate, train and coach internal and external stakeholders in relation to health and safety risks associated with day-to-day operations and establish methods to mitigate those risks in practice.
- **Communication skills**: Excellent communication skills with a knack for writing and presenting quality reports and findings to senior leadership, including the Board and executive leadership team.
