**Description of Role**:

- An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate Professional Education Manager to join our highly driven and successful team. We are seeking a dynamic, articulate, self
- driven individual with the unique mix of both clinical and commercial backgrounds in diabetes education and training.
- As an Associate Professional Education Manager (APEM) you will be reporting to the Diabetes Division Manager, whilst working with the Education Team under the leadership of the Senior Clinical Education Manager to contribute to the growth and success of the Diabetes Division through ongoing education and training programs.

The primary focus of this role:

- Development, implementation and ongoing clinical education and training of both internal and external stakeholders within the healthcare market.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with all key accounts, key opinion leader’s (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCP’s) within the diabetes arena, building long-term sustainable client relationships
- Liaising with marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency,
- Staying up to date with new product launches and ensuring sales team members are on-board and trained to implement divisional strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivery of exceptional education and training on AMSL diabetes-related products to internal staff and all AMSL customers
- Staff of AMSL Diabetes Division
- Endocrinologists/Paediatricians/Physician’s/Diabetes Nurse Educators (DNE)/Allied Health Workers
- Consumers- Education and upskilling team members to ensure your expert knowledge is transferred and assimilated across the diabetes team.
- Conduct staff education and training programs to align with product portfolio and resources as required and in consultation with the SCES- Facilitate product education for HCPs dependant on field requirements.
- Assist in the development of educational resources in conjunction with the SCES and marketing department to be used for training purposes.
- Co-ordinate local and national events/conferences/education sessions as agreed by SCES in collaboration with National Sales Manager (NSM)
- Liaise with Education teams of our principal companies to ensure their training expectations are met
- To monitor competitors’ activities and market trends.
- Liaison with stakeholder organisations
- Media Interviews

This role requires the flexibility to work long and at times, unconventional hours, to enable the delivery of training/education sessions to external parties. Additionally, you may be required to meet with internal staff and/or customers across the country, attend conferences and trade shows, which will require interstate travel.
- Degree in Healthcare/Science
- Current Driver’s License
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Unrestricted works rights within Australia

**Highly regarded**
- Experience in related role: preferred Diabetes/Medical Device
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Credentialled Diabetes Educator, or clinical knowledge in Diabetes management

**Experience and Education**:

- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
