Our Protected Vehicles team works closely with clients to design, manufacture, maintain and upgrade protected vehicles that keep people safe, all around the world. Our state-of-the-art workshops are set up to help us deliver Hawkei and Bushmaster military vehicles to strict defence standards - and set our people on rewarding career paths.

**Based in Eaglefarm, Brisbane on Jagera and Turrbul land, your role purpose is -**
- Managing key responsibilities for operational performance and delivery including; all Service Centres, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Facilities and Security Management and other contractual/statutory requirements
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives
- Lead and inspire a team of technicians, mechanics, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment
- Streamline workflow processes to maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and meet service delivery targets
- Maintain high standards of service quality and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Oversee inventory control processes to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize wastage
- Drive a customer-centric approach by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendorsc requirements and other projects

**On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the automotive, heavy vehicle or transportation industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve goals
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in budget management, inventory control, and process optimization
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
