**The Opportunity**:As the Security Operations Superintendent you are responsible for the development & implementation of the asset protection plan, ensuring that effective systems and processes are implemented to protect the security of the assets, employees and contractors across the mine site.

**Job title**: Security Operations Manager

**Location**: Australia EXPAT FIFO position
**Roster**: 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off
**Salary**: Highly Attractive EXPAT package

**Key Focus**:

- Coaching & developing local workforce
- Lead and set standards for site security team
- Support senior operational team across the site
- Key liaison with local police force
- Oversight and leadership of the security team
- Reduce illegal mining activity
- Develop effective policy, procedures, processes

**Core competences**:

- Mining security and asset protection leadership experience
- Expatriate experience in Africa, PNG, Asia, South America, Pacific (Highly desired)
- Police / military background
- Ability to lead with authority and influence across a large site
- Experience of working on challenging sites
- Experience leading large teams
