**How you’ll make an impact**
The primary purpose of the role is to assist with the growth and retention of North clients via the provision of a range of support services, principally training and education of North, project management of Transition services and relationship management with key clients back-office staff.
- Works closely with the Business Development Manager and New Business Manager teams in managing existing adviser relationships and supports engagement of new advisers. This support is a combination of training responsibilities and supporting practices who want to transition clients to North.
- The other key aspect of this role is to maintain and develop deep and trusted relationships with key clients’ back-office staff to drive retention and growth and build best practice for efficiency and use of Platform.
- Working closely with the Business Development Manager(s) and New Business Manager(s) to on-board new advisers and support staff to North.
- Deliver effective training for advisers and support staff
- Management of identified transition opportunities from start to finish to ensure a seamless experience.
- Roll out new platform capabilities in conjunction with the Business Development Managers to adviser practices.
- Identify growth and engagement opportunities for North.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the aim to improve overall growth and engagement across a dedicated panel of key groups
- Understand the needs and drivers of all clients across a panel to provide effective support.
- Act as a point of escalation ensuring Adviser queries and complaints to ensure they are dealt with effectively in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of training content including adviser onboarding, product enhancement material, webinars and how to guides.
- Develop strong diagnostic skills to help identify advice business training needs on AMP’s platform, product, and enterprise systems.
- Work closely with team members to ensure quality of approach, consistency of behaviour and key messages to the market.
- Build adviser NPS and satisfaction ratings for AMP Wealth Management products through the provision of “best practice” training and support
**What you will bring to the team**
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
- 2+ years experience in financial services industry (or related industry)
- RG146 qualified
- Previous client facing experience in financial services is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the financial planning market including compliance requirements
- Proven track record in effectively resolving difficult or complex customer issues
- Understanding of the advice process and obligations an adviser has to their clients
- Strong relationship management skills
- Good knowledge of North product and a willingness to enhance this understanding
- Ability to effectively build relationships and working pro-actively and collaboratively with peers and internal stakeholders to ensure client priorities are front of mind
- Sound technical knowledge of superannuation investment structures, funds management and Platforms
- Previous experience demonstrating effective presentation skills and material to educate clients in a manner appropriate to the individual's and group's level of knowledge
- Solid interpersonal/ communications and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and to set targets and goals autonomously
