Trading Operations Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Trading Operations Specialist, who will play a vital role in the oversight and management of firm's post trade arrangements and platform administration.

**What you'll do**
- Manage all daily post-trade trading operations functions through their full life cycle.
- Platform maintenance and price monitoring
- Corporate Action processing and reconciliation
- Swiftly address and resolve client-facing queries escalated by internal teams
- Maintain and update static reference data for over 20,000 financial products
- Manage transfer process both internal and external.
- Monitor internal systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Contribute to business development projects working with our multiple data vendors and counterparties to deliver business objectives
- Reconcile hedging accounts with counterparties and resolve discrepancies as required
- Daily oversight of regulatory transaction reporting requirements.
- Continuously review and enhance operational processes. Identify opportunities for automation and implement streamlined workflows
- Monitor key metrics and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Provide regular reports and recommendations to management.
- Inter-department communication on cross-functional initiatives and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

**What you need to have**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a Trading Operations function
- Solid understanding of post trade processes working within a risk and control framework
- A positive attitude and a desire to keep learning
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good understanding of financial markets and products
- Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions
- Proficiency with software tools, especially ChatGPT and MS Office
- A team player who can also work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues

**Nice to have**
- Experience with Refinitiv, Bloomberg Terminal and SQL
- CFA or other relevant industry certification
