**Job Description**:
Trade Desk Specialist
The purpose of the role is to monitor and analyse complex financial (trading) data identifying behaviours, patterns and events which require investigation. Analysis and investigation work will provide crucial market insights to senior management across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and analysis of financial market data
- Dealing with customers / market participants
- Analysis of market behaviours and events
- Technical Customer Configuration (new participants)
- Running data queries and running reports
- Contribute towards leading business improvements initiatives particularly product enhancements
- Liaison with onboarding, connectivity and trading issues with current and potential participants, market makers and vendors.
Key Requirements:
- UNIX Shell
- SQL Queries
- Data Analysis
- Advanced Excel
- Financial Services (Capital Markets experience desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Tertiary qualified and/or other related industry qualifications
- Experience with Financial Markets Protocols (FIX, OUCH) - (desirable)
