We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Head of Junior School to join our leadership team in 2025. This pivotal role will work closely with the Head of Junior School to foster a positive and engaging learning environment while driving excellence in student wellbeing, curriculum innovation, and staff development.

About the Role
- Lead and implement the Junior School Student Wellbeing Program, fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture
- Oversee student leadership, behaviour management, and social-emotional learning initiatives
- Support staff through mentoring, professional development, and wellbeing initiatives
- Drive curriculum innovation in collaboration with teachers and learning coordinators
- Manage Junior School timetabling, key events, and daily operations
- Work closely with students, parents, and the broader College leadership team

About You
You are an inspirational and experienced leader with a strong understanding of student wellbeing and curriculum development in the primary years. You thrive in a leadership role and have a passion for creating a nurturing, innovative, and high-achieving learning environment
- Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
- Deep understanding of student wellbeing frameworks and primary education
- Ability to motivate and empower both students and staff
- Strong knowledge of teaching innovation, including STEAM and digital learning
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Current VIT Registration and relevant tertiary qualifications
- Postgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership or Wellbeing
