Oyster Bar Elizabeth Quay is seeking a casual duty manager with stolid functions experience.

We are seeking a highly organized person to work hands on in a diverse role running shifts day to day, opening and closing the venue, working hands on during busy service periods to provide our customers with a high level of service, execute functions in the venue and work along side our off site full time booking consultant.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Overseeing and executing small and large scale functions
- Conduct informative site inspections with potential clients;
- Provide a high level of service to our customers during busy service periods
- Work hands on as part of a team with our amazing staff
- Open and Close the venue
- Liaise, support and effectively communicate with all members of the operation team including floor staff and Head Chef on the event;
- Manage staff and wages during your management of shifts
- Build a positive relationship with our staff working along side them in a hands on role
- To build relationships with clients and develop an understanding of their needs and requirements for a successful event. Thus, securing repeat business;
- Organise and prioritise work in order to ensure guaranteed response times and deadlines are met, working with our booking consultant to assist with booking responses when required but mostly execution of functions in house will be your priority
- Excellent communication skills, presentation & attention to detail;
- Reporting to the Venue Manager and Senior Management
- Ad hoc duties as required by Management.
- Execute functions to a high level in the venue working hands on with your team during each function, managing a small team and delivering a high level of service
- Strong beer, wine and cocktail knowledge

To be successful in this role you will possess: ;
- Must have RSA & approved managers badge
- COVID Safety tcertificates
- Experience in hospitality
- Must be willing to work weekends;
- Full rights to work in Australia;
- Have own transport.

Various hours to suit successful applicant working mainly during peak function periods and days.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $29.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
