**About the role**

Reporting to the Principal Land Activity Permit, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Land Activity Permit (LAPs) in compliance with procedures and in accordance with regulatory and other obligations. In addition to coordinating LAPs, this role will also support the business through delivery of LAP training sessions for relevant personnel and contractors.

You will be responsible for engaging with and providing direction to site and Perth based stakeholders to educate, monitor and report on LAP compliance, supporting system and process changes as required.
- Coordinate Land Activity Permits (LAPs), ensuring the LAP Procedure is followed.
- Administrate the LAP module of the Approvals Management System, which manages the LAP process.
- Coordinate LAP training with relevant site and Perth personnel.
- Ensure applicable documentation is received to perform the assessment.
- Maintain strong data governance and accuracy throughout the LAP process.
- Participate in incident investigations as required.
- Notify management of any non-conformances.
- Identify and implement improvements to the LAP system.
- Maintain an awareness of updates to regulatory requirements and changes impacting LAPs.
- Facilitate timely progression of LAP assessments and Close-outs

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Cultural Heritage
- Significant experience in environmental / heritage / approvals management
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory approvals.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
- Strong GIS capabilities; ArcGIS Pro preferrable.
