
Post Production Project Administrator

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Post Production Project Administrator.
This role will action and coordinate the effective managing of media and storage of projects as assigned by Dept. Head and Operations Manager.
To action and coordinate all post-production media requests and storage, media requests and file transfer jobs in a timely manner, and filing is cataloged and managed to an optimal level.
The daily duties and responsibilities include:
- Work with external stakeholders and develop video protocols according to industry standards.
- Prepare, generate and review reports on team workflow and volume.
- Collate and analyse data associated with projects undertaken and report on the server usage in line with production and post-production protocols.
- Monitor and facilitate access to confidential information and recommending codes of practices and procedures for accessing records.
- Provide technical and admin support for editing and management software.
- Develop record cataloguing, coding and classification systems for media management. Customize (build) media and asset management software according to the workflow that benefits the needs of the organisation.
- Working with the Operations Manager, negotiate and review variations to contracts for programs, projects and services related to production and post-production procedures in accordance with storage and archiving contract requirements. (Manage asset management software.)
- Administrate accurate record-keeping and archiving procedures for archival research and for the retention and destruction of records.
- Ensure all projects are media managed and stored correctly, including all media storage.
- Application Support.
- Ensure the Tape Library is managed, organized and all tapes are stored correctly. Develop organizational systems for newly digitized records, and documents. Implement classification systems to facilitate required access to archived materials.
- Advise Operations Manager on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions regarding media and asset management.
- Communicate clearly with the Production Coordinator and Operations Manager, updating them of progress and any problems incurred with effective strategies.
**Education** - Preferably Degree or higher education or relevant experience in the IT/Media Industry.
**Experience & Skills**
- Knowledge of Post Production, File Storage and Formatting.
- Knowledge of various software including Final Cut Pro, Premier, After Effects, motion tracking & chroma keying software, Manage Engine, and Strawberry, etc.
- Knowledge of the company’s culture, Film and TV Operations.
- Demonstrated high level of Media storage and IT aptitude.
- Advanced knowledge of various software including Final Cut Pro, Premier, After Effects, motion tracking & chroma keying software, and asset management software is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of location filming and ability to film contents as required is preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to work well with people at all times - especially under pressure.
**Salary** - Salary being offered is commensurate with qualifications and experience and is between $55,000 to $65,000 per annum.
