Channel Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Channel Development Manager to join our high performing team in Rhodes, Sydney on a 14-month fixed term contract.

In this role, you will drive our category growth across a variety of channels by leading and developing strategies and maintaining and building exceptional relationships with our external key customer groups.

**A day in the life of...**:
No two days will look the same. In the role of a Channel Development Manager, a day in the life will look like:

- Developing tailored Category Strategy to meet our channel and customer needs and drive the embedding of the strategy within the Purina Team
- You will drive our category agenda, including leading strategic category engagement sessions (planning days, insights sessions) with our key customers
- You will be responsible for the development of the channel strategy and priorities, driving it throughout the ICP process
- You will support category growth for strategic customers
- You will provide market and shopper insights and recommendations to support effective decision-making and selling aids through strong category understanding

**What will make you successful**:

- You will hold a commercial degree or similar degree
- preferable in commerce or marketing.
- You will have proven experience in a similar role such as Category Management or sales experience and will be able to successfully influence and operate within a matrix structure.
- It would be an advantage if you have experience working with all sales channels, including Grocery, Pet Specialty, and New Business.
