- Responsible for the inspirational leadership and oversight of curriculum
- ELC to Year 6

The key role of this job is to provide engaging and thoughtful lessons, following planned activities in accordance with the faculty syllabi and school priorities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the PYP according to the IBO guidelines.
- Respect the aims and objectives, and strategic plan of the school
- Coordinating NAPLAN
- Alerting staff to relevant professional learning opportunities
- Organising and presenting at Staff Meetings on a regular basis in consultation with Head of Campus.
- Identify individual learning needs
- Teach in a way that enables all students to succeed
- Provide an appropriate role model for students in terms of punctuality, dress and conduct
- Observe safe work practices, maintain a safe and supportive environment

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- VIT Registration
- Experience in teaching and working with young children
- Experience in administration
- Experience in an area or areas of curriculum development
- Ability to plan and manage time effectively with limited direction
- Skills and understanding required to implement the curriculum and the School’s policies.
- Ability to ensure confidentiality of information

**This is an ongoing teaching role (0.4 FTE) and a 3-year leadership position as PYP Coordinator (0.6 FTE) at our Sandringham Junior Campus.**
