**About the Team**
Reform and Innovation works in genuine partnership with Aboriginal peoples and communities to shape policies and reforms that reflect their needs and aspirations. The branch plays a key role in delivering the NSW Government’s commitments under Closing the Gap and advancing Aboriginal land and cultural heritage reform. **About the Role**
The Project Officer supports the design and execution of policy and program initiatives that drive a transformational data reform project, across NSW Government to deliver shared access to government-held data and Aboriginal Data Sovereignty and Governance, ensuring alignment with Aboriginal community priorities and supporting NSW Government commitments under the National Agreement on Closing the Gap Priority Reform 4.

**We're Looking For**
- ** Project Management & Delivery**Proven ability to manage and support complex projects, including resource coordination, documentation, and reporting to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**:Skilled at building strong relationships and managing stakeholder interests, especially when working with Aboriginal communities.
- ** Government Communications & Briefing**Ability to draft, review, and edit ministerial and departmental correspondence with precision, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with NSW Government positions.
- ** Research & Analytical Thinking** Strong skills in supporting research, identifying trends, and contributing to insightful briefs to inform strategic decision-making.
