**About the role**:
Vacenti is seeking an experienced Laundry Services Team Leader to join our laundry team at our Marebello Facility located at Victoria Point. Reporting to the Hotel Services Manager, you will be responsible for achieving and maintaining consistent service standards for laundry operations across the business. Your ability to provide cost effective services within budget as well as leading and directing a small team will be vital to succeeding in this role.

We are looking for an applicant with experience in implementing and driving change, knowledge of how to review and enhance Laundry services and the ability to respond to the changing needs of the business and work in partnership with Facility Managers to ensure the needs of our residents are met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Lead and manage a team of Laundry Assistants to ensure high standards of quality in linen services across the facilities.
- Proactively monitor and make necessary adjustments to the service delivery model as required. Analyse and review to ensure cost effectiveness, quality and timeliness of service outcomes.
- Provide high level expertise, advice and input into issues affecting the laundry services and the impact that is having on the greater business.
- Ensure staffing levels/competency and equipment is appropriate to meet delivery requirements.
- Ensure the health and safety of staff and the workplace culture is consistent with the Person-centred values of Vacenti.
- Ensure that all the laundry equipment, machinery and premises are maintained.

**About you**:

- Possess excellent management skills and be able to delegate work to the team in line with priorities.
- Have strong problem solving and financial skills and be able to maintain good relations with key stakeholders.
- Have a good working knowledge of the Code of Practice for Private Health Care Operated Laundries and Linen Services or the capacity to rapidly gain such knowledge.
- A good business acumen and be results orientated with the drive for efficiency and effectiveness.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.46 per hour

**Experience**:

- Laundry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Covid Vaccination (3 doses) including Booster (required)
