We currently have a number or casual vacancies available in our National claims team. As a Claims Consultant, you will work closely with brokers and clients, assisting with end to end claims management.
**About the Role**
Our Claims Consultants are referred to as Claims Relationship Managers at Insurance House and are responsible for managing a portfolio of property and commercial claims, where they will act as an advocate for the insured.
Day to day will be made up of the following activities
- Ensure positive stakeholder interaction with brokers, clients, insured’s loss adjusters, underwriters, carriers and cover holders
- Provide accurate technical and general advice to clients with respect to policy product coverage across a range of commercial and personal product lines
- Prepare claims activity reports for management as and when required
- Work with service providers in a timely and professional manner throughout the claims cycle
It's fast paced with enough work to keep you challenged but not overwhelmed. You'll learn something new every day and enjoy the variety that's presented in the role.
**About You**
With an understanding of the claims process and ideally, previous experience in similar role, your knowledge lies across all types of general commercial and property claims.
Your highly effective negotiation and communication skills will ensure you deliver best possible outcomes to all clients and establish strong professional relationships with key stakeholders.
You work well in a team environment, have exceptional time management skills and don't mind asking for or offering a hand when it's required. You're results driven, comfortable using multiple systems have strong emotional intelligence. Your resilience, rapport building skills and adaptability will have you not just succeeding in this role but loving it too
