Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Portfolio Manager** to join our client's Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). As the Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Director of Portfolio Prioritisation and Planning in effectively managing the agency's portfolio of programs and projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of portfolio analysts in the Portfolio Prioritisation and Planning Section, overseeing their work and ensuring the delivery of key tasks, including work plan development, expert advice on the Portfolio Project Management Framework (PPMF), template development and maintenance, and assurance reviews.
- Conduct induction sessions for agency staff on program and project management.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of our agency's portfolio of programs and projects.

**Requirements**:

- Proven ability to multitask and work independently under broad direction, exhibiting flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and judgment skills.
- Ability to actively manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Experience providing expertise and advice on portfolio prioritisation and planning processes.
- Ability to take responsibility for team outcomes, monitor progress, and deliver quality results.
- Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to consider wider agency implications when making decisions and effectively manage competing priorities and strategic directions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, manage conflict, and identify opportunities for cooperation.
- Knowledge of program and project management methodologies (MSP, Prince2, PMBOK, Agile) and certification is required.
- **Desirable**: At least five years of experience in an EPMO within a government environment.

**Please Note**: Baseline Security Clearance is required.
