Come join the Corbett Street team and be the superstar **Lead** **Educator** for our **Extended Kindy** **Program** you'll team up with our group leader to create an exciting and top-notch care and education experience for our kids.

**C&K Corbett St Community Kindergarten** has been operating in the heart of West End for over 100 years. Established in 1913 and operating from our current nature - inspired building since 1922, our long-held reputation for providing quality early childhood education in the local community, we appreciate that many children attending our Kindy have parents or older siblings who also attended our Kindy.

The role is permanent part-time, working from 1.00pm to 6 pm, Monday to Friday during school terms (min 25hrs/week), with additional hours during school holidays.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community. And you’ll be supported by a team of kind, humble people and leaders who share their knowledge to help you learn, grow and achieve more than you ever thought possible.

You’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your colleagues to creative a nurturing environment while developing meaningful relationships with the children and their families.

**What you’ll bring**

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
