About St Paul's Early Learning Centre

At St Paul's, we recognize that learning begins well before school. The first five years are crucial in laying the foundation for lifelong learning. Our Early Years Program is engaging, fun, and centered on real-life learning experiences in a rich, open environment. Our centre is open Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Our team of over 20 passionate, caring professionals create a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all children. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit community: large enough to cater to 92 children daily, yet small enough to know and care for every family. This is an exceeding service with a fabulous outdoor environment.

Your Responsibilities

As our Lead Educator, you will play a key role in shaping a positive and enriching learning experience for our children. Your responsibilities will include. Your responsibilities will be to:

• Craft a dynamic Educational Program that's always buzzing with fun and learning.
• Supervise and engage kids in a wide range of exciting activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment where every child feels at home.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.
• Collaborate with your awesome team to ensure the best outcomes for everyone.
• And yes, a little cleaning is part of the adventure too

Selection Criteria

• A Diploma in Children's Services, School Aged Care, or another ACECQA-approved qualification.
• A current Blue Card and First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
• Current child protection training.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Framework.
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator.
• Fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliability and respect.
• A professional and enthusiastic attitude.
• The ability to build strong, positive relationships with kids, families, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for giving children the best start in life.
• A willingness to embrace our Christian ethos.
