**Help shape the future of children in our care**

**C&K Dixon St Early Years Centre** is research childcare centre offering an intensive Early Childhood Education and Care program. It aims to address a critical gap in Australia’s early childhood education and care system, which is currently not set up to adequately support children living with severe levels of family stress and social disadvantage.

The objective of the intensive early childhood education and care program is that children living with significant adversity will experience a stable and enriching early learning and care program and enter school as confident and successful learners who are developmentally equal to their peers.

It is an exemplar model which aligns with C&K’s strategic priorities and the standards and values that are most dear to us as an organisation. The C&K Dixon Street Early Years Centre is one of three research sites in Australia and will be supported through coaching, mentoring and professional development from the Parkville Institute.

If you are an **Educator** who is interested in making a difference in the lives of young children and families then this is the opportunity of a lifetime. You will work in a genuinely collaborative professional team and be supported to develop new understandings of how to support young children through relational pedagogy and infant mental health practice/ trauma informed practice.

**What you’ll bring**

Whether you’re an experienced early childhood professional, newly graduated or just commencing your studies, if you’re energetic, fun and committed to guiding children’s early learning and development, we’ll set you up for success

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will either have or be willing to work towards:

- Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
