Our NSW State Government client is committed to providing mobile health services for the community of NSW.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a highly professional Return to Work Officer - Non-Work Related to join their team in Leichhardt with some flexibility to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 12-month temporary assignment.

In this exciting role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Develop and coordinate Recover at Work Programs to facilitate the recovery and return to work of injured employees
- Maintain regular contact with recovering employees ensuring employees are aware of their legislative entitlements and responsibilities
- Manage, monitor and report on KPI’s whilst regularly reviewing and reporting on the quality and cost effectiveness
- Review fortnightly and monthly outstanding cases, participating in reviews with relevant line managers
- Maintain database to ensure all relevant documentation relating to a non-work related injured employee is accurate and up to date
- Extract relevant information from the database to provide accurate information on case management and claim status
- Assist in promoting recovery at work to managers and supervisors
- Attend sector, division and unit meetings, where required
- Network cooperatively with unions, management and staff establishing strong stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice

**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Tertiary Qualifications within Human Resources or relevant industry experience
- Previous WHS or Return to Work experience including developing interventions for managing non-work related injuries and health conditions
- Proven understanding and experience in case management
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with a strong team and task focus
- Solid negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Reliable remote internet access
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
