Transit Systems is currently seeking a **highly experienced and motivated Injury Management Advisor** with a strong background in **workers compensation claims** and **return to work coordination**. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the timely and effective management of workplace injuries while supporting our valued employees throughout their recovery journey.

Reporting to the **National Workers Compensations Manager**, you will manage all aspects of injury management and RTW processes, ensuring legislative compliance and best practice.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate the **Return to Work (RTW)** process for injured workers, ensuring compliance with workers compensation legislation.
- Be the **primary point of contact** for injured workers and support them through recovery and reintegration into the workplace.
- Collaborate with health professionals, rehabilitation providers, claims managers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor injury recovery progress and implement appropriate return-to-work plans.
- Undertake investigations into significant incidents to drive claim outcomes and improvements.
- Conduct claim reviews with internal teams to ensure optimal results.
- Oversee **fitness for work** assessments and processes.
- Maintain timely and accurate reporting with the regulator and within internal systems.
- Prepare and present reports on RTW statistics and case outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and proactive injury management culture across all levels of the business.

**Skills & Experience**
- Qualification in **Return to Work Coordination** or an equivalent allied health field.
- Minimum **3 years' experience in injury management**, ideally with a large employer or insurer.
- In-depth knowledge of **workers compensation legislation** and injury management best practices.
- Strong background in **claims management** and third-party provider liaison.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- High level of **administrative and reporting proficiency**.
- Professional presentation and a commitment to confidentiality and quality service.
