On behalf of our Federal Government client, we are looking for an
**APS6 Program Support Officer** for an 18 month assignment based in Geelong.

The
**APS6**
**Program Support Officer** is accountable under limited direction to undertake complex work related to national deliverables, delivering quality outcomes guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards and performance metrics.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead and/or manage staff responsible for providing business administration support, expertise and technical knowledge across a range of activities
- Provide accurate and specialised advice, ensuring knowledge of and compliance with relevant legislation and policy
- Assess and maintain quality processes and documentation
- Coordinate and analyse data and written information for the purposes of drafting branch level communications and/or high level internal and external communications
- Collect and audit workforce planning and capacity data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems and people performance data

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have;
- Experience within a similar role
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to be proactive and use critical thinking to navigate complex projects.
- Experience building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in and lead a team and adapt quickly in a changing environment
